Why attend a training course to find a new job?
Seeking either a new job or career change is not a skill taught at school or university. Most of us rely on instinct or by talking to friends and colleagues.
Top athletes have training by qualified coaches, even when they are at the top of their game, as they need constant reminders and input from professional trainers.
Likewise, job seekers who don’t have the necessary skills for thorough job searching need input from professionals to provide the extra edge required in today’s job market. It is an essential investment of their time and a small amount of money to acquire these skills.
Take a look at the table below which illustrates the money you can lose by not working. No account has been made of government benefits or tax – just a rough guide.
• When was the last time you updated your CV and are you aware of what should be excluded or indeed
included on your CV?
• Do you fully understand all the routes for finding a job in the electronic era and how to use them effectively?
• When did you last attend an interview and are you confident about your performance and preparation?
The CSB course is designed to give you the tools, confidence and plan to achieve your objectives in the shortest possible time.
